CANDIDEMIA and ACUTE or DISSEMINATED CANDIDIASIS

• Amphotericin B iv; =0.7 mg/kg/day

• Fluconazole iv --> po; 12 mg/kg/day

consider combination with 5 flucytosine

• Points of attention

Remove prosthetic devices where possible

Consider local debridement / surgery
