37 yo F with x-ray proven CAP
- no prior fluoroquinolone therapy
- treated with levofloxacin 500 mg po 10 days
- Sp isolate susceptible to levofloxacin by DD
3 days into her therapy
- admitted to hospital because clinically no improvement
- responded after switched to ceftriaxone and erythromycin
