Vaccination and disturbed immunity.
Patients with underlying disease, such as carcinomatosis or reticulosis, are especially vulnerable to
vaccinia virus and should not be vaccinated. This illustration shows a severe haemorrhagic, gangrenous
reaction in a patient with a reticulosis.
